Groups and Tailored Classes
At this Nottingham Cookery School we are really flexible and are happy to make arrangements [within our normal course portfolio] direct with individuals/couples/groups of family/friends and corporate groups! This means that for most of our classes you can get a more tailored service at reasonable cost and do your class when you have time.
We know that people are short of time and often have only one date available [or friends are only staying for a particular weekend] and we prefer it if you come and do what you really want to do [from our list] rather than being forced to fit in with pre-planned classes. Talk to us and see if we can arrange something on a date that works for us and you! Some examples of our previous classes [with comments from those who booked and took them] are below and here is how it works…………….
- Choose the recipes or skills [from our list] you are interested in
- Email or speak to Sarah and she will give you the price for your choice of date and the suggested outline for your class
- Confirm the date, make the payment and turn up!
EXAMPLES TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IS POSSIBLE [please enquire for details and exact timings and costs for tailored sessions - peak rates apply at busy times]
- 1.5 Hour Chicken CURRY Class – choose a chicken curry from the list and learn to cook it on your own or with your other half, taking it home for supper! £100 for 1 or 2 people – ask for details!
- 2 Hour FISH Filleting or SHELLFISH Class – learn to fillet fish or prepare some species of shellfish [one to one tuition] – cost for your individual lesson is £90 [preparation skills only - no cooking, weekday price] + cost of the fish on the day [which you take home] – Ask for details!
- Come for 3 hours with your husband/wife/friend and cook a tailored menu of Indian dishes. Cost around £100 per person – including all food to take away – enquire for full details
- Bring 3 friends and book a Fast Indian session or Spanish Tapas Medley for 4 people for 2 hours! Cost £50 per person including food eaten and recipe packs

Hi Sarah, Dave and Sarah said they really enjoyed the course. Sarah immediately showed me her new knife skills with a carrot, Julienne style (not sure about the spelling) and Dave cooked the naan bread on Saturday with a curry I cooked, yummy. Hello Sarah, Apologies for the delay in letting you know how our meals went – been hectic! All of the dishes were excellent. Definite quality restaurant standard and beyond! The children loved the dal too. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable and enlightening day – we both really enjoyed it and have been inspired with our curries to date.
