TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Terms apply to all classes whether booked as a gift or by the participant.

REFUNDS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE UP TO 14 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE

IF YOUR COURSE IS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE THEN NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.

Unless you specify that you would like a lesson on your own then others may join your class [up to the appropriate maximum for that class] where popular dates are chosen. For example – if 2 people book a Takeaway class and 2 others wish to book for the same time and date then this will be allowed [as the maximum is 4 for this class]. This means that you will have company of 2 others at your class. The amount of food that participants take away will be increased accordingly and both parties will complete all appropriate skills.

If a class is postponed or cancelled participants will be offered a transfer to an alternative course/date. We do not compensate for any associated arrangements [hotels/train tickets etc] – it is up to you to cover all eventualities using insurance.

If you can’t make your course we will try to resell your place – but if we can’t then you must send someone else in your place. You cannot sell your vouchers on EBAY or by any other means without our agreement and without notifying us that they have been passed on [with details of the new owner] – vouchers are invalid without proper purchase details.

Changes to participant names may be accepted up to 2 days prior to the course date by agreement with us only. If participants fail to complete their course no refund or part refund will be given. Classes missed through illness or any other cause will not be refunded [It is recommended that insurance is taken out against reasons beyond your control] All participants must comply with all instructions and safety regulations and rules during their course. We reserve the right to terminate the training of anyone at any time during the course at our discretion.

Where gift vouchers are purchased you must use them as you would in a shop – against what is available within the lifespan of the voucher. We do not guarantee your first choice of course unless you pay the fee for an individual lesson/minimum person amounts [where available]

By signing up to these terms and conditions [whether you are the purchaser or the receiver of a gift] we will assume that you agree that you will not use any of our course material in the running of any cookery course or catering business of your own. by entering into a booking with us you also agree not to publish our recipes on the web for others to use.
